Orders & Payment

Online - Ordering & Payment

We stock a premium range of pre-built ready-to-install products including steel supplies, fishing, boating and marine products.

We also offer products that are customisable/made to order, some of these products include bait boards and rod holders. Each product that is made to order, will have this stated on the product page including the estimated lead time for the product to be built + shipped.

Once you have your cart ready to go, you can head over to the checkout page to continue with your purchase. You will be asked to fill in your shipping details, even if you want to pick up in store.

PAYMENT: For all online orders, we accept all major credit cards. We also accept Apple Pay, Google Pay & SHOP Pay. Our (Buy Now Pay Later) options are ZIP Pay & Afterpay.

Custom Fabrication & General Engineering Services - Ordering & Payment

We offer custom marine products and engineering services for individual clients or businesses at our Mt Maunganui workshop.

These custom marine products and engineering services can be found under our Custom Marine Fabrication and Workshop Services links. These products and services are unable to be purchsed online and require a quote to be approved before we build/design your product(s).

PAYMENT: All custom marine fabrication products & general engineering products/services will be issued a GST tax invoice digitally or in person at our office with remittance details for bank deposit.

Shipping & Delivery

Do you offer free shipping?

We offer free tracked nationwide shipping within New Zealand including rural addresses.

Some products are unable to be shipped to rural addresses due to size/length. We will do our best to ensure these details are listed on each product before you make your purchase.

Some products may require additional processing time frames for materials to be available, customisations and then shipping. We will do our best to communicate these time frames with you directly when your order is placed.

Returns & Refunds

Refund Policy

We have a 30-day refund policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to make a request. Items sent back to us without first requesting will not be accepted.

We have an easy returns process. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: Unit 1, 22 Portside Drive, Mount Maunagnui (at your own cost).  Just follow these steps:

1) Place the item back into its original packaging.

2) Fill out the Contact us form with your personal details, order number and which item you would like to return.

3) We'll assess your request and send you an email with instructions on how to return the item back to us.

All returns & exchanges will incur a 15% restocking fee.

Damages & Issues

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at info@mountmarine.co.nz with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will do our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.

Exceptions and non-returnable items

Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as special orders or personalised items). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale or clearance items.

Refund processing times

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days.

Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return or refund, please contact us at info@mountmarine.co.nz.

Warranty

How can I make a warranty claim?

If you require a product replacement or have a warranty query you can lodge a request using our contact form. Once your request is lodged we will check our records and contact you as soon as possible.

Please note: Some product like Minn Kota & Garmin have their own warranty procedures and the fastest way for you to have some queries resolved will be to reach out to them directly - we will offer advice on your next best steps if you have any questions.

Yes, Mount Marine Fabrication proudly provide professional servicing for reinstatement works on marine, residential and commercial properties. Our services involve getting your boat, home our business back to standard, so it’s just as safe and reliable as it was before.
